CMR 3 on the PC is a very good in depth Rally Game to satisfy your rally fix. For a budget title, this is a must buy!
Although you can only stick to one team and being Colin McRae himself, the championship is still very indepth and playable and you can upgrade your Ford Focus as you progress. There more rallys you win, you can unlock extra cars, which include Road versions of the main rally cars, group B cars, a Ford Transit Van or even an old Critren 2CV!
The other main mode is the stages mode, where you can choose a car (Imprezza WRX, Lancer Evo etc) and race on any of the stages unlocked in Championship mode.
The damage modelling is realistic and will affect your handling if you have a high speed off and the replays a good to watch, although it's a pity you can't save them.
My only gripe is the customisation aspect of the championship, you have to set your car up for the race ahead, there are no explanations on the different car parts, for example 'dampers' , 'anti-roll' so for those who are new to rally games, will not know how to set these parts up.
But for anyone who is looking for a good rally game that doesn't hurt the bank account, this is a good choice!
