I rent it from a friend three weeks and I was really excited because I havent played previously game of the series or a city building sim at whole and I was eager to try it. The music was pretty good but the graphics were outdated. Ok I said many games dont have graphics but they are fun so I played a couple more hours. After a few hours of play time another issue appeared. The trade system was so difficult to understand and the tutorial wasn't explaing much. The reasons you used the trade system was completely useless. After I have half understand the trade system another issue appeared. Even on the smallest cities, the city was not responding well when you zoomed out or in and it was stuck for no reason. In my opinion rent cities XL from a friend DON"T buy it. It si better to buy any other game than this. I wonder why tey still make this game at all.
Ok it is a great sandbox game with amazing graphics ... that could have been an excellent city building game ... So They added a few (badly designed) new buildings charged 14 £ for an upgrade and they didn't address any... Read Full Review
A huge letdown - I hoped that in 2012 they had fixed the very annoying bugs that make the game much less fun to play than it could be, but all they did was add new bugs! The new building models they added to the game are... Read Full Review
