I knew Castlevania series from ages ago, however, I wasn't a fan of it. However, Lords of Shadow changed my mind: an amazing game the tells the beginning of Castlevania series. Graphics, action e sound are superb. The fixed camera, told to be troubled by some, works well enough, delivering the fell of a classic plataform game. This is a good point because there are a lot of functions and buttons to keep you busy. People said the Castlevania lost identity for getting lots of aspects from other games... this isn't id loss, that's called "evolution". Fans are divided like always happens to the other games: if the game is conservative, they say "no changes... much of the same...", or, if the game applies lots of changes, they say: "lost its identity...this isn't the same game I knew before...". Oh, come on... give us a break. The story is good, but, I will tell you just this: the plot occurs before the Dracula appearance, OK? So, don't be complaining: "Where is Dracula? This isn't Castlevania!". Combat system resembles God of War, some boss fights resembles Shadow of Colossus and it has the great Castlevania style! The result: great game! Castlevania rocks!
