if you loved the movie, then you'll most likely like the game, the racing is very fun as well as all the mini games...and it's just plain fun to drive around the place smashing into other cars, flying off massive ramps and stuff. The environment is pretty big and it's easy to get lost, but there's so many hidden little ramps and jumps and stuff, it's nice to explore. Alot of the cut scenes before and after races are very funny, as well as the comments made by other cars just driving around randomly after you smash them. The voices are great, especially Mater and Chick (IMO). You can unlock a whole bunch of extra stuff like concept art unique to the game and many different characters to play as in arcade, each with heaps of different paint jobs to choose from (one of Mater's has him in black flames with a gold tooth :p....you can also unlock two monster trucks, one being a monster truck version of McQueen). You get to see a lot more of some of the cooler characters that weren't shown that much in the movie, like Wingo, Snot Rod, Boost and DJ...both playing as them and racing against them as Lightning, and chasing them as Sheriff. It's not just a kids game, some mini games and races can be quite hard and need doing over a few times (like tractor tipping! Funny stuff), though generally the races weren't too hard. What else can I say...it's worth buying if you loved the movie as I did, and I'll definately be replaying it. Ka-chow!
