This game is amazing. After the first Call of Duty, what I really wanted was an sequel, but an worthy sequel. An sequel that could push forward the game in every aspect. Call of Duty 2 did an amazing job in the therms of gameplay, historical accuracy, graphics and surprisingly it had more character development.

Call of Duty 2 has almost everything that made the first game successful. There are three campaign's: The British Campaign, The Red Army Campaign and the American Campaign, just like the previous tittle. This game is more violent than the first one and has an more darker tone attached. The three campaigns are really good and more historically accurate. Unlike the First Call of Duty, the best campaign of the three was (personal opinion) the American, the weakest was the Red Army. The American campaign was the darkest one. Since the landing on the D-Day until you reach the last mission, this campaign was ground breaking. This campaign made me remember the TV Mini-Series "Band of Brothers", in some battles you have the feeling and atmosphere of the TV Show. The British Campaign is a mix, sometimes is great, in others times it is incredible. The first missions of this campaign were good, but I couldn't hide the feeling of wanting more, the desert warfare was well made and it had a lot of tension, just like the first tittle. When the British Campaign moved to Europe, it was so different, you start to know a little more about Price, and you start seeing him as an icon of that campaign. The Russian campaign was good, but weak. Sorry for the paradox, but allow me to explain. The Red Army Campaign starts really well, but then it starts dragging way to much. The pace wasn't that good either. But this campaign did something good, it showed that after the events of the first tittle (yes, this campaign is almost an sequel) the war was really bad in there, it didn't stop or slowed down, and the snow really made the battles harder.

The gameplay suffered some major changes. The most notable change is the regenerating health, now your health regenerates, this ends with the health bar in the next CoD tittles. The enemy and friendly A.I has been improved, giving the player one great experience during the battles. The graphics are also improved, the new visuals helped the atmosphere, and it was perfectly used to show us an great and visually stunning battlefield. The multiplayer has also been redefined and it is way better. The sound design was great and the soundtrack really made more awesome some moments.

Call of Duty 2 sets up the line even higher, too bad that the next tittle didn't keep up and felt a bit disappointing.
