Gonna have to disagree with Gamespot on this one....by far...this was one of the most memorable games on N64 for me!!!

The characters were great, the bosses were nothing to joke about and the music was just straight out of awesomeland(yes....awesomeland) The boss battles were actually hard, nothing easy about them....Nuff said. SCREW YOU GAMESPOT! YOU GUYS WOULDNT KNOW A GREAT BOMBERMAN GAME IF IT HIT YOU IN THE FACE. I guess it has to be "TRADITIONAL" old boring lame PLACE BOMBS and WAIT for it to be good. The graphics fit right in where they belong during the N64 era, so theres nothing wrong with them either....

So I ended up playing this game through a friend and about 10 minutes into the extremely fun multiplayer I asked him if I can borrow it for the single player. Boy ..that was no mistake. I'll never regret picking up this game. I still look back sometimes and remember the fun that I had playing the multiplayer. They even let you customize your multiplayer costume!

This along with a few other N64 games really hold a set place in my memories for some reason. If this game wasn't enjoyable this wouldn't be the case for this game now would it...I'm not sure how it would play now but all I know is, if you played the game at the time it was supposed to be played you would have most likely loved it since it was such an easy pick up and play type of game.
