It's darker then the original Bloody Roar & a bit more hard-core. BR2 is a sequel to a PLAYSTATION original.

Bloody Roar 2 is a bit different from the original Bloody Roar but it's still Bloody Roar if that makes sense.

The 1st thing you will notice is that BR2 is more darker then BR1. While BR1 was more flashy & colorful. BR2 is dark and straight to the point. In BR1 we had a colorful/moving logo in the background main menu that was eye-catching but in BR2 it's has no music, no moving logo and no color to it. The intro to BR2 is just clips of game-play airing while some hard-rock music plays. BR2 has a small movie that air before you go into the story-mode, that's really cool to watch. The setting for the stages are a bit more dark then the stages in BR1 too.

The game-play in BR2 is more hard-core then BR1. Now you have special-moves to pull off. The screen turns dark vertex as the person your playing pulls off a move killing half of the heath-bar.

There are some new characters. Shenlong, Jenny, Busuzima and Shina. With the return of Yugo, Alice (who looks more mature now in BR2), Long and Gado. Some changes in made to the cast is Uriko is playable but she is a kid that transforms into a cat. They got rid of Fox, Greg and Mitsuko and the biggest change of all is that Bakuryu is now a teenage-boy. Bakuryu is not the same Bakuryu from BR1 though, they are 2 different people.

Graphics are good! real old-school, 90's looking and gives off a darker look then BR1.

The soundtrack features hard-rock 80's music to kick bloody butt to. I thought the music was really good and can sleep good at night knowing it's up there with the music from BR1.

In the end BR1 went threw some changes to become BR2 but it's still Bloody Roar, BR2 did not stray too far away from the original.

It's a sequel game to a old-school PLAYSTATION original (BR1) for the PLAYSTATION.
