Beyond Two Souls is not going to be a great experience for everyone. This point has become increasingly self evident over the last few days. Those going into Beyond expecting it to be similar in style and genre to 2010's Heavy Rain or just based on their first impressions taken away from the "game's" trailer will probably come out of it disappointed. The story of Beyond Two Souls takes place over the span of fifteen years and tells of the extraordinary events in the life of its protagonist Jodie Holmes. I won't say anything more. I honestly think that if people were to go into this game not knowing anything about it and keep an open frame of mind, then they would be able to take away something unique like I did. This game has its share of faults, but the faults I found are probably different from other people's opinions. To the right person, the story told throughout Beyond Two Souls can be deeply moving. I enjoyed just about every moment of it. However you wish to do it: buy, rent, or borrow...just experience this story and form your opinion after much deliberated thought.
