A superb war game.

This game had a lot of mixed reactions, some good, some bad, and some in the middle. When I think of Battalion Wars, I think of a war game that is almost perfect, and I say that because its not perfect because of no multiplayer! I can't believe that they didn't put in any multiplayer! Anyway, here is my review.

-Gameplay: The gameplay is near perfect, the only problem I had with the gameplay was the controls which take some time to get used to. Other than that the gameplay is perfect except for the fact that there is no multiplayer! But its forgivable and the game is short but fun.

-Sound: The sound is really good with some great dialogue in the cutscenes, but once you get to the gameplay you quickly realize that your soldiers voices are terribly annoying.

-Story: The story is pretty standered for a war game, its the Western Frontier against the Tundran Territories soon to be both of you against Xylvania. The point is to wipe out your enemy and save the world, pretty straight forward.

-Units: There are about 18 different units. There are Rifle Grunts, Assault Grunts, Flame Grunts, Bazooka Grunts, Missle Grunts, Mortar Grunts, Light Tanks, Heavy Tanks, Light Recons, Heavy Recons, Anti-Air Vehicles, Artillery Vehicles, Battlestation Vehicles, T-Copters, Bombers, Fighter Jets, Gunships, and Strato Destroyers. Which is a lot which make different outcomes in each battle.

-Overall: Overall this game is superb with some flaws but an overall great game.
