Its been a great ride, Dark Knight... But, all good things must come to an end. it isn't the swan song to a spectacular series like I wanted... I type this at the risk of, enraging all hardcore, Batman Fans reading this. But let me explain, it was a great ride! but it wasn't the explosively, huge ending to the trilogy that I KNOW the writers behind the story, are capable of producing. That's not saying that the story was weak. Oh, no! this story had more twist and turns and ups and downs than, a snake trying to do the Cha-Cha Slide. This final chapter was a good one So, fear not batman fans! The guys a Rocksteady didn't drop the ball in the story dept. Thank God... honestly? I was almost brought to tears at the amount of crap the dark knight has to deal with. Constantly having to risking his life and in this case, his sanity... the story didn't have that awesome cherry on top like i wanted but, it did leave me with hope. I was disappointing to figure out most of the plot twist and mysteries about curtain characters so easily... The game was named after him! Having Scarecrow and The Arkham Knight as the main villains was kind of disappointing... luckily, they aren't the only ones you got to deal with. And overall, The story was enjoyable and, that's whats really what's important. Helping to add to that enjoyability, we have the voice talents of Mark Hammil as the voice of the joker and Kevin Conroy as the voice of Batman. Now... yeah, I know about what happened in the last game... but, trust me. once you get into the story, it will make sense.

You will be overwhelmed slightly at all the stuff you got to do. That's a feature that was made standard since Arkham City and, a welcomed return. At times, this game feels like a H.D. remaster of the last 3 batman games you played. At times that's not a bad thing. it makes you remember where you came from. Plus, I love the attention to detail and, how it looks and feels like a brand new batman game. At least by a passive, casual players perspective. However... since you've been down this road before, (you have been the batman 3 times already...) some of you will feel that you are going through the motions... AGAIN. but, that's what you signed up for, when you placed this game in your console of choice. So... Deal with it!

In the game play department, they have maintained and improved on the mechanics. You no longer got to fiddle around with the D-Pad to get to your gadgets! New and improved, fun gadgets are at your disposal such, as the freeze grenade and that voice synthesizer. But the biggest gadget you will have forced on to you is, the Batmobile/Battank… And, like that annoying, next door neighbor, that you were forced to play with because, your parents are beat friends, it won't go away...

O.k.... the problem I had with the Batmobile is... you only need it for riddler challenges that require it, (and that in itself was off character in my opinion) and to attack the Arkham knights tank drones. you won't need it for travel. Because getting around the city is still more fun and, faster by gliding and grappling. because if you want to be batman, you don't NEED a car. but the game will force you to do those segments... when the game should of focused more on the villains and making it more meaningful and unique like, the opening cinematic that allowed you to play the game in first person. Making most of the main villains like, side quest objectives, made the game seem a little shallow. If the game had more of that, It would of been even more awesome. Considering we got no real satisfying boss battles, that would of been a huge Welcome. That's the one thing Arkham Origins Got right!

Especially if we had of gotten that Co,op experience we've all been asking for... you do get a dual combat situations where you can switch between tow characters with a button press but, that's not a true Co,op experience and, they should of at least tried it.

I wonder why they didn't have a superman cameo considering all the nods and references to him in, the dialog and the Easter eggs... Seriously... why did they miss that opportunity? He could of thunder clapped that storm cloud problem away, no problem! Batman is STILL a member of the justice league, right? I wanted more reasons to keep fighting as hard as I am, Risking Life and limb, to save this rotten city. Considering the fact that its empty of the people that I want to save... having more of a reason to clear out the militia could of been useful. Logic would of told you to just leave them there to suffer in the fear toxin, right?

In regards to the mean things I've mentioned about the game, remember... I'm a batman fan! so trust me when I say this game is great in its story telling and, the psychological segments when batman is fighting his own, green hair, white faces, grinning demons! (best parts of the game)But, game play innovation, it added new tricks but most users won't even appreciate them they way they should. Mostly because of the Batmobile/Battank... Too much focus on the Batmobile... if they had of but that same amount of focus in the other aspects of the game, that would of been a welcomed addition.

In regards to all the nice things I mentioned about this game, Too bad the P.C. can't say the same thing... but that's another review for another day... that will NEVER come. (I couldn't finish the game because it kept crashing...)
