Better than its sequel, this game practically invented the custimization features available in the simulation based baseball games of today. You can create and name your own teams and players and even choose your team's colors as well as your player's gender. Additionally, with its cartoon-like appearance and its absence of MLB teams or players the replay value is infinite.
My only issue with this game is that I played it so much that the cartridge became difficult for the NES to read. I had to quit when I was spending as much time jimming the cartridge into that perfectly readable location as I was spending time playin the game itself.
