OK for those of you who never played this classic NES game your missing out on one of the best Baseball games around still to this day. Forget all that fancy stuff in todays market that takes away from the games being fun and the super real graphics. Baseball Stars for the NES was revolutionary in that it gave us a fun game to play and provided the first ever "create a player" feature. You start by picking a team color and symbol. But its not that simple, you can select from Rookies, Veterans, offensive, defensive or average teams depending on your style. Then you can "Fire" players you dont want and "Hire" replacements from the free agent list. As you play a season (you can limit the season games) you earn money if you win games in order to improve current players or buy new ones. You can even add girls to your team to make it co-ed. But.. the biggest highlight of the game is the team called The Lovely Ladies, a team made of all women. They provide you with the most money if you beat them because more people come out to watch the game to see them. The season keeps your stats saved until you start a new one. Lets just say that this game is alot of fun to play and you find yourself unable to stop. Who needs all that fancy strike zones and pitch selections when you can have a game that brings non-stop fun!
