XBL Marketplace on Saints Row

For the last two weeks, a demo of Saints Row has been available in stores as a bonus offer for gamers who had already made the decision to preorder and purchase the full game. Now it's available for free for those who haven't quite made up their mind.

Today, THQ announced that a demo of Saints Row has arrived on the Xbox Live Marketplace, just as the publisher had previously promised. The single-player demo features an introduction to the game's character-customization options, campaign-mode storyline, and open-world gameplay.

Saints Row is rated M for Mature and will retail for $59.99. It is scheduled to ship to stores on August 29. For more information on the game, check out GameSpot's previous coverage.
