Where To Find Fortnite Season 8 Exotic And Mythic Weapons

The island's best weapons will cost you some gold bars, but they're worth it.

Comments

Fortnite exotic and mythic weapons are now a staple of the game season after season, and Fortnite Season 8 is no different. On the island right now are several unique weapons that each offer buffed attributes and special abilities. Most of the time, these special weapons will cost you a pretty penny, but once you try them for yourself, you'll agree they're worth the gold bars the demand. Here's where to find all Fortnite exotic and mythic weapons for Fortnite Season 8.

All Fortnite Season 8 Exotic And Mythic Weapon Locations

Currently, there are nine exotic- or mythic-level weapons on the map. Exotic weapons are those sold by NPCs around the island and are usually limited to about five or fewer in number for an entire match. Mythics, meanwhile, are unique, one-off weapons that are often earned only through defeating one of the island's bosses during your travels.

While mythics are the very best weapons in the game, their extreme rarity means only one person can have each mythic weapon at any point (except for the craftable Mythics unique to this season), so exotics are a great option for players in team-based modes like duos, trios, or squads as they allow an entire team to carry the same exotic together. It's intimidating to come upon a team of four where each player is loaded with a Dragon's Breath sniper rifle, after all.

If you're looking for your favorite ultra-rare weapon or you want to discover one you've never equipped before, here is every exotic and mythic weapon location in Fortnite Season 8, who sells them what they do, and how much they cost:

The number of exotic and mythic weapons on the island is lower than usual, but that just makes having one in your loadout even more important. As you can see in the map below, the locations of these special weapons are pretty evenly spread across the map, so no matter where you drop, you should be able to purchase or earn an exotic or mythic weapon and make your loadout a force to be reckoned with.

Also note that the Mythic Sideways Rifle and Minigun are not reflected on the map because their locations change with each round. You'll find Sideways Zones and Anomalies in each round, though, so you'll always have a chance to earn them.
