Sony made no mention of a release date for the Uncharted 3 Game of the Year Edition, or if it will ship outside of Europe. A Sony representative told GameSpot, "We have not announced a Game of the Year edition for North America."

On top of announcing the new version of Uncharted 3, Sony today revealed that total worldwide sales for all four Uncharted games have reached 17.32 million as of April 13, 2012.

The series launched in 2007 with Uncharted: Drake's Fortune, and subsequent PlayStation 3 releases included Uncharted 2: Among Thieves (2009) and Uncharted 3: Drake's Fortune (2011). A PlayStation Vita entry--Uncharted: Golden Abyss--shipped in February.
