Microsoft has announced a new Xbox Series X custom console themed around Diablo IV, and it looks very good. Microsoft teamed with Blizzard and Takeoff Studios to create the console design, which is inspired by the Gates of Hell sculpture by Auguste Rodin. The console itself does not work, but the person who wins it in a sweepstakes will also get a working console.

Rodin began work on the sculpture in 1880 and worked on it for 37 years. Rodin is also known for The Thinker, which is arguably his most famous creation. Microsoft previously teamed up with Blizzard for a custom Diablo Xbox back in 2021.

Microsoft is not selling the Gates of Hell Xbox, but fans can enter a sweepstakes for a chance to win it. The console is non-functional and is meant to be an art piece. However, the sweepstakes winner will also receive a functional Xbox Series X. The total value of the sweepstakes prizes are $1,309.98, Microsoft said.

To enter the contest, fans need to follow @Xbox and @Diablo on X/Twitter and retweet this tweet. The contest is open until October 30. You can see the full terms and conditions of the sweepstakes on Microsoft's website.

It's a big week for Diablo IV, as the game's Season of Blood update goes live on October 17. Additionally, Diablo IV is heading to Steam that day, too. On top of that, Lilith from Diablo IV is now in Call of Duty.

Microsoft now owns Diablo and the entirety of Activision Blizzard with its successful purchase of the company.
