Disney has multiple new Star Wars movies in the works, but which one is coming first? During an earnings call this week (via Collider), Disney CEO Bob Iger confirmed that The Mandalorian & Grogu would be the first out of the gate, arriving in 2026.

Not much is known about the film, but we do know that Pedro Pascal will return to play Din Djarin AKA The Mandalorian, and that baby Yoda Grogu will be there as well.

The Mandalorian's Jon Favreau will direct the movie. He said in a statement, "The prospect of bringing the Mandalorian and his apprentice Grogu to the big screen is extremely exciting."

Favreau will also produce the film alongside Lucasfilm's Kathleen Kennedy and Star Wars higher-up Dave Filoni.

As for the TV series, Lucasfilm has not confirmed if The Mandalorian is coming back for a fourth season. Filoni recently spoke to ET (via ComicBook) about the movie, saying Favreau is a great choice to direct and that he believes the movie will be "fantastic," but he wouldn't discuss the TV show's future.

In addition to The Mandalorian & Grogu, there is another Star Wars movie in the works that brings back Daisy Ridley as Rey and a "dawn of the Jedi" film from Indiana Jones and the Dial of Destiny's James Mangold. Additionally, Dave Filoni is making his own Star Wars movie, while Taika Waititi is as well. Rian Johnson's Star Wars trilogy is apparently still in the works, too, while Donald Glover is making a Lando movie with his brother.
