The Neo Geo Mini comes with 40 games, spanning SNK's greatest series from The King of Fighters and Samurai Shodown to Fatal Fury and Metal Slug.

Of all the mini consoles out there, the Neo Geo Mini is the only one with a screen, allowing you to play it on both a TV and in your hands. This makes it particularly unique among the SNES Classic, Genesis Mini, and TurboGrafx-16 Mini, and if you want to enjoy 40 of SNK's best games, then you can do so at a great discount. Amazon has the Neo Geo Mini for only $30, down from its original price of $50. It's important to note this only includes the console and not the mini HDMI cable or any controllers. You can pick up the controllers separately--the white pad is $20, while the black pad is $23.61. On the other hand, a solid mini HDMI cable is only $10.49 on Amazon.

Thankfully, Amazon has a number of Neo Geo Mini bundles available as well, in case you want to snag the entire package in one easy purchase. You can buy the Neo Geo Mini International with two controllers for $73.59. Alternatively, you can get the Neo Geo Mini with a single controller for $49.98. There are a number of other bundles that include both controllers and an HDMI cable in different colour variations, though you will be paying a fair bit more.

GameSpot's Neo Geo Mini review praised the small size of the mini console and playing its various games on the 3.5-inch screen. However, critic Peter Brown lamented its image quality and scaling when playing on a TV and the lack of third-party controller support, despite being happy with its emulation, game library, and more.

More Neo Geo Mini bundles:

"When it comes to content, SNK has the competition beat. The Mini could have shipped with half of the included games and it would still be easy to recommend as a gift or a personal gadget for your workspace, albeit a pricey one," he wrote. "That said, SNK had a great opportunity to knock the Mini out of the park and deliver a great way to play Neo Geo games on your TV and missed the mark in more ways than one."
