A trailer for the game was apparently shown at Tokyo's Jump Festa event (via Polygon), offering a glimpse at how the quirky-looking Tap My Katamari will play. The game's trailer says it's launching "soon" for iOS and Android devices.
The Katamari series launched in 2004 for the PlayStation 2. The first game, Katamari Damacy, was followed by We Love Katamari, Me & My Katamari, Beautiful Katamari, and a number of other titles.
The last game released was Touch My Katamari for PlayStation Vita.
