Grand Theft Auto parent publisher Take-Two Interactive has an "extensive pipeline of unannounced titles in development" that will be unveiled in the months ahead. Chief operating officer Karl Slatoff revealed the news during a Wedbush Transformational Technologies Conference this week.

No Caption Provided

"Looking beyond 2013, with Grand Theft Auto V launching on September 17, fiscal 2014 should be one of the best years ever for the company with substantial revenue and earnings growth," Slatoff said.

"And we also have an extensive pipeline of unannounced titles in development which you are going to hear about in the future months," he added.

Slatoff did not share any further information regarding these games, though he did call out the Red Dead, Mafia, Borderlands, L.A. Noire, and Max Payne franchises as being important to the company.

Mafia III is rumored to be in "full production" for a release on the Xbox 720 and PlayStation 4.

Haha you totally put the Red Dead pic up to raise hopes for RDR on PC yet again. Anyway- I'm done with GTA. They want to go all gritty emo with GTA then that's their choice, but I'll stick to Just Cause and possibly Saints Row from now on thanks. Sure wouldn't mind another Bully or Mafia though. Or even Mafia 1 HD. Mmmm... Mafia 1....

Although I would love to hear about a Red Dead 3 or a Bully 2, what about Agent?

@-HaloHitman- There are two likely options with Agent;1:They've been secretly working on it for years, and they're going to reveal it, and it's going to be an amazing game. Or 2:They halted development, and it may or may not be released a few years from now. I'm hoping for #1.

Red Dead Redemption 1950-1960's timeline should be great ... go-go dancer, elvis, rebelious kids... etc

@hippiesanta

You're more likely to see a GTA game in that era.

Before 1900 = Red Dead series
Early 1900's = Mafia series
Later 1900's = GTA series

@Scorpion1813 @hippiesanta I think 1960's would be more of Mafia's timeframe, the last Mafia game was in the 40's/50's, so 60's would fit them well.

I'd love to see the new mafia game take place in the 70's Las Vegas scene, would be prime era/location for a good mafia game.

@Stiler

GTA: London was set in the 60's.
I'm not saying it not possible for Mafia to be in the 1960's, but I can only hope that a Red Dead game never is.
I trust Rockstar not to make that mistake.

I'm hoping for a new Red Dead title, and a new IP.

BoredomLands was boring, and I have no interest in the Mafia.

Max Payne had a recent release and I doubt a follow-up will be in the works just yet. But, even if it is, it won't be announced for a long while.

Which one? I'm assuming you mean RD Redemption? RD Revolver wasn't all that great.

@Scorpion1813 @Arther-la-Blunt Rockstar didn't fully make Red Dead Revolver. They bought the game after Capcom had made part of it and expanded on that. RDR was made from the ground up by them.

@Stiler @Scorpion1813 great ideas, man. I heard a wild rumor that Landon Ricketts could be the main character of the next game, but if they wanted to go back in time, they should do a young John Marston story and explain just how bad he really was. His past is a mystery and I wanna uncover the truth.

@Scorpion1813 @Stiler Yeah I agree, I don't wan a sequel (especially considering the time line of RDR, which was near the end of the "old west" days).

I'd like to have a new Red Dead set back earlier in the 1800 days with an overall different storyline/character and themes.

Maybe something more focused on posse's/groups, something simialr to say, the films like Tombstone, Lonesome dove, young guns, etc. A good cast of characters you travel around with during that time for some reason, be it your outlaws, or your hunting someone, or just doing a cattledrive/going west together.

@Stiler

I know. But most people don't even seem to realise Red Dead Revolver existed. They think Redemption was the first and continue to ask for a RDR2.

Judging by past title in the franchise I would call it the "Red Dead" series that instead of using numbers, uses words like Revolver and Redemption.

I would assume that the next title will be Red Dead something-beginnning-with-R (maybe). That features a new time, place, and characters.

A sequel would indicate similar location, characters, and possibly time-frame. Not necessarily all of them, but at least one or two.

I don't want a sequel to either Red Dead game. I want a new Red Dead title. Similar to how Red Dead Redemption is different to Red Red Revolver.

Many might not favor this but i'd really love for them to do a new Midnight Club game, this time i'd like for them to return to the series roots in terms of location by giving the player 3 or more cities or foreign places to race around in all the while integrating new gameplay elements. I didn't mention other R* franchises seeing as how more than likely you will see those again however, as a Club fan, i'd like to race in that crazy, illegal arcade style with cops on you again sometime in the future! XD

@Viral-venom13 I don't want an old midnight club, but a "new improved" version I could definitely get into if they did it right.

But I really want to see RDR2.

Hopefully a sequel to L.A Noire and Read Dead on PC in some form. I absolutely loved L.A Noire but I can see why a lot of people didn't. Its one of the most immersive and atmoshperic games I've played.

@kamikazeespleen Have you played The Walking Dead? It might look weird with the graphics but trust me, you will fall in love with the characters and you'll never care more for the safety of npc's in that game than any other.

Red Dead Redemption, on the other hand, was one of this generation's masterpieces! I want a sequel NOW.

@keviac I want a GTA game set in the future. I think it would be funny to see the super car that they have in the current game as rusted out junk car. Also a Stream Punk Red Dead game might be interesting if they did go the fantasy route.

I would love a Rockstar-made fantasy game. But, Rockstar are known for their gun-based combat, rather than swords and sorcery stuff.

@BigBossWato

I hate steampunk.

I personally believe that it would be nothing more than an expansion pack, rather than a full-blown Red Dead title.

Take Two has owned Rockstar studios for quite a while now (1999).

They have a proven track record of not killing franchises like EA seems to do (shortly) after buying them.

Not that I would be able to play it, 'cause I don't have a powerful enough PC, but are they ever going to put Red Dead Redemption on PC? That'd be amazing. When I think of my favorite games ever made, Red Dead Redemption doesn't immediately pop into mind, but I'd be lying if I said it wasn't.

@NTM23 I'd love for it to be on PC.

It's the one game that defined this console generation in my opinion.

Outstanding experience and it's a shame PC owners can't buy it.
