Star Wars: The Mandalorian Adds Timothy Olyphant To Season 2
Deadwood and Justified star Timothy Olyphant is the latest name reported to be joining the cast of the Star Wars show The Mandalorian in Season 2.
Add another name to the list of new cast members for Season 2 of The Mandalorian. The Disney+ Star Wars TV show has already wrapped filming and there have been plenty of reports about new additions, from the first live-action portrayal of Ahsoka Tano to the iconic character Boba Fett. Now another acclaimed actor is reportedly being added to the list.
According to a report from Variety, Deadwood and Justified star Timothy Olyphant has been cast for the show. If you're wondering who he's going to play, those details are being kept a secret for now. Based on various reports, Olyphant will join Rosario Dawson (Tano), Temuera Morrison (Fett), Katee Sackhoff (Bo-Katan Kryze), and Michael Biehn in the new season.
As it stands now, the new season of The Mandalorian is set to premiere in October on Disney+. Meanwhile, Season 3 is already reportedly in the works and a documentary series that goes behind the scenes of the first batch of episodes is airing on the streaming service right now.
