The first trailer for the upcoming Star Wars movie The Last Jedi dropped in April, but it revealed very little about the movie's plot. However, a new promotional ad has been released that hints at some of the developments in the film. Be warned, there are potential spoilers below!

The ad was produced for the film's Japanese release, and a translation can be found at starwarsnewsnet. While it doesn't reveal much, it does suggest that there is a big twist in store.

The text reads:

The Most Shocking Truth In Star Wars History Will Soon Be Revealed!

A new generation's tale of the struggles of light and dark, virtue and evil has begun with the death of Han Solo. In a Galaxy where First Order and the Resistance are fighting against each other in a war, the heroine, Rey, had the Force awaken within her. Kylo Ren has fallen to the Dark Side of the Force and killed his father, Han Solo. The Last Jedi stars Daisy Ridley, Mark Hamill, Adam Driver, John Boyega, Oscar Isaac, Laura Dern, Domhnall Gleeson, Carrie Fisher, Anthony Daniels, Gwendoline Christie, and Andy Serkis.

The stylish first poster was also released last month. You can check it out here, while this promotional image for the upcoming Battlefront II game revealed a new look for both Rey and Kylo Ren. The movie hits theaters on December 15, 2017.
