"It was great," Ford said today on Good Morning America (via EW). "It's a wonderful movie, it's got great production values. It's a real big movie and I was delighted to see it."

He also talked about what conditions drove him to return to the iconic Han Solo role for The Force Awakens. "A really good script, the opportunity to work with J.J. [Abrams], who I've admired, and it just seemed like a good idea," he said.

Ford added that Solo has “a more complex story now, a little bit more of an emotional context than perhaps there was before." But at the same time, Ford stressed that Solo is "still the same guy."

Also in the interview, Ford said he would definitely like to work on another Indiana Jones movie if given the opportunity. A new Indiana Jones film is happening, but it's not going to come out anytime soon.

The Force Awakens opens in theaters on December 18.

In other Han Solo news, Star Wars creator George Lucas recently defended his decision to edit the original film to show that it was Greedo who shot first.
