I might buy a handheld in the future, the PS Vita has an advantage over the 3DS in my book but I am still not convinced..

all sony as to to do is drop price to compete with 3ds when give people a reason to own a vita dont forget sony brought gaikia so what if u could stream games to ur vita

the one thing that prevents me from getting a vita is the fact that PSN is region locked. im from asia and the PSN here really sucks. if only it had the same account system like the PS3, i would have bought it in a heartbeat.

I own a vita and I am frustrated with the lack of choice in games. The solution to me is a price drop. The high price of memory, non- removable battery and up scaled android games are a turn off when they charge £30 for a games that cost £5 on android.I also own an Experia play. This is an example of how to do gaming on the go right. Great exclusive games at a low price and the full library of android games with some ps1 games too and it takes micro sd. The play station guys should talk to the Ericsson guys. Maybe we'll see an all sing vita 2.

You know what? I'm taking the plunge. I don't care, I'm buying a PS Vita. Screw it.

I don't care how terrible Sony is at supporting their own console. I don't care about how they seem to actively not want to succeed, I'm getting it simply because I like it.

Though, I'm not certain if I'll be playing it much simply because it has few games. Period.

It is a relatively solid design, as said. However, there some definite flaws in the system that prevent me from buying it at its current price point. Most of the flaws were deliberately put into place by Sony out of greed. I'm talking about the proprietary, overpriced memory card and the overpriced games. I don't see those problems being corrected any time soon and Sony doesn't plan to lower the cost of the handheld, either, so I will remain a non-owner for the time being.

The AC3 and NFS will help, but we need more AAA titles until the cavalry (God of War, Gran Turismo, etc) arrives!

Hopefully we will soon a Resident evil and a MGS game announced for the Vita

and the next Batman and Splinter Cell games will have a Vita equivalent, liberation like.

The road to succes really is that simple, if the above mentioned games are ported, it is destined to succed!

there is no way you can compare smartphones or an ipad to the vita,, ive had a vita for a month now and it blows all other handhelds out of the universe,, wipeout looks just as good as the ps3 version. i dont mind spending coin as long as its a quality product and the vita is Qualityyyyyyyyyy!

Like I said, I don't like to go on record by just saying 'Vita is doomed to fail'. Reason why is because my mailbox will get spammed by a legion angry fans.

Not that I don't think my comment is out of proportion. Just scrolled up and down and it seems most people are writting books here. Or perhaps you've just been spoiled by twitter ;)

Ragnarok comes out tomorrow, so at least I will have a 4th game for it. It may be moving slow, but the games for it are great. If the sales increase, then we should see more games coming out for it. At least SONY makes some quality products, and that is all that matters.

It's fine if they don't want to do a price cut, but we still need to see more quality games.

PS vita is a another Potential failure by sony it may fail like the PSP go & PS3

Does anyone remember the PSP? Overall it was a very solid system it just needs some time to mature and get those games going.

Hilarious. The only reason this is still on the market is because Sony has the money to keep it there. PS Vita was dead on arrival. This is why Sony should drop out of the race. Contributing nothing.

I'll look into a Vita when I see some games I want bad, but to be honest, as neat as it is, I'm not much of a handheld gamer.

Not a bad system (is a good one) but i think it still needs more titles in variety terms, i'm not saying it doesn't have good games, but the VITA still lacks that "OMG AAA" game that makes your system popular.

@Bl4KD37H Sorry but the psp has amazing games, if you don't like those genres is your own personal taste.
