Sniper Elite 4 puts players in the middle of Italy during World War 2.
Sniper Elite 4 has been delayed and will now release next year, developer Rebellion announced Monday. Originally slated for a 2016 release, it'll launch for the PS4, Xbox One, and PC on February 14, 2017.
The latest entry in the Sniper Elite series has players setting out on a mission as agent Karl Fairburne. You must help the Italian resistance save the citizens of Italy from the fascism that's taken hold of their country. You can check out a bunch of screenshots and other images in the gallery below.
You can watch a teaser trailer that shows off Sniper Elite 4's world here. It features the Italian countryside, tanks, and soldiers who are likely to be your sniper fodder when the game releases next year.
Its predecessor, Sniper Elite 3, received a score of 6 in GameSpot's review, which said, "It's a shallow, crude pleasure, but the delightful disorder that's just around every corner is strong enough to overshadow an otherwise forgettable experience."
