Robinson: The Journey No Longer PlayStation VR Exclusive
Crytek's VR title coming to PC in January.
Dinosaur-themed VR title Robinson: The Journey is coming to Oculus Rift in January, publisher Crytek has announced.
The game has been exclusively available on Sony's PSVR since its release in November 2016, but will now be available on PC. No solid release date or price have yet been announced.
Robinson launched to mixed critical reception, with most praising its visuals but some criticizing its puzzles and short play time. Here at GameSpot, we awarded it a 7/10; critic Jason D'Aprile called it "one of the most immersive, engaging games to hit PSVR," but did note that occasional poor frame rates can cause motion sickness. Meanwhile the game's publisher, Crytek, recently shut down five studios across Europe and Asia due to financial difficulties. Crytek UK and Crytek USA had previously shut down in 2014.
