Rise of the Tomb Raider PS4 Release Date Confirmed, Has PlayStation VR Support

@mlauber: Uncharted felt like an extended episode of Bold and the Beautiful far too often.

It had some really good moments just not enough of them where gameplay was concerned. Too many on rails sections and combat was weak with just the same enemy all the time. It had a great story in the side missions though and i loved finding out about and exploring that pirate city too, puzzles were way too easy. Winch was under uterlised whilst in the jeep to the point it was a total waste of time even having it in the game. They could have just had them get out of things in a cutscene to speed things along.

Whilst in the Jeep , where are all the wildlife too?

I love Naughty Dog's art style but there was just nothing in this game that screamed amazing. It just felt like an extension of what they have already done which is ok just not incredible.

I was more blown away by the original Uncharted when i first saw it.

I don't hate it , i just wish i had rented it rather than blow full price on it as it's just not interesting enough to return to.

@mlauber: I personally disagree. I really enjoyed UC4, but liked playing ROTTR more and I played it just after. To be fair, they're very different games, with just enough similarities to warrant a comparison between the two. Both franchises deserve a gamer's attention, and most PS4 owners have already bought and played UC4, anyways, there's room in their libraries and schedules for ROTTR.

@sonypony4eva: yes, better than all three of those games. Witcher 3 felt like a weaker open world than red dead redemption, bloodborne was just at its best a hardcore game with average pacing, which ROTTR had much better campaign along with DLC that's just like dark souls. And No one liked MGS5's multiplayer, so they overlooked the single player anyway so that game is a over rated flop by kojima's spoiled a$$.

@fedor: UC4 is the most boring game of all time...a story about catholic brothers looking to find dildo looking artifacts just thrills you, don't it? Tomb raider is open world, UC4 is a hall way and open cafeteria game. And I don't know what TW3 must mean witcher 3...that game was the most racist game to let white privlage directors avoid making a game about African, Asian, or indian history. that's all they wanna do is make European non sense time and time again.

@vanquishre: Actually. A LOT of people weren't cool with SFV being exclusive. Capcom to this back still haven't come up with a very good reason as to why unlike Platinum did to Bayonetta 2. When they said to Xbox One owners good luck forking in another $400 for a PS4. It didn't go too well, even for the PS4 crowd.

Now Xbox One owners are cool with it today...Thanks to Capcom f***ing the game up.

@vanquishre: Well consider how you phrased it and the actual topic in the article it sounds more like you are talking about this specific game and not timed exclusivity in general. Overall those that say timed exclusivity is bullcrap do so for ALL multiplats. Only the respective fanboys of each console gloat or trash timed exclusivity for multiplats depending on what platform a specific game launches first.

They are doing it both. sony third party exclusives, xbox fanboy rant. xbox third party exclusives, sony fanboy rant. i believe you are no different yourself. it just so happen that this topic is about rotr but i just hope you are posting the same message when the topic is street fighter or spiderman. in any case, third party exclusivity is not to be supported regardless of console. look at what happen with square. after making the other side angry they are doing their best to appease them by releasing exclusives to sony without receiving any payment (e.g., i am setsuna, ff vii remake, nier automata, star ocean, dragon quest, etc.). what square is doing is wrong also and xbox fanboy should be angry also with square for making the foregoing exclusives to sony.
