Red Dead Redemption 2 PC Pre-Orders Are Live With Some Great Bonuses

Red Dead Redemption 2 is coming to PC on November 5, and you can finally pre-order it. As scheduled, Rockstar opened Red Dead 2 pre-orders today, October 8, through the recently launched Rockstar Games Launcher. The game will be available on other stores later, but for now, Rockstar's own PC store is the only place to pre-purchase the acclaimed western on PC. Required system specs have also been confirmed.

Rockstar is sweetening the deal by offering a range of bonuses for pre-purchases. Those who pre-order on the Rockstar Games Launcher by October 22 will get their choice of two free games. The choices include some great Rockstar games, including the following:

Additionally, everyone who pre-buys Red Dead Redemption 2 on PC through the Rockstar Games Launcher gets a variety of in-game bonuses, including content spread across the story mode and Red Dead Online. This includes the following:

  • Outlaw Survival Kit for Story Mode
  • War Horse for Story Mode
  • Le Tresor des Mortes Treasure Map for Story Mode
  • Cash Bonus for Story Mode
  • 50 Gold Bars for Red Dead Online

Finally, Red Dead Redemption 2 pre-orders through the Rockstar Games Launcher effectively get a $20 upgrade. You can't currently buy the standard edition--instead, buying the $60 version will net you the Special edition that normally costs $80, while opting for the $80 price will get you the Ultimate edition that typically is priced at $100.

Red Dead Redemption 2 will be available to pre-order from the Epic Games Store, Green Man Gaming, the Humble Store, GameStop and others beginning October 23 with a bonus of 25 Gold Bars for Red Dead Online. The game is also coming to Steam, but not until December.
