Razer's new Blade 18 gaming laptop is now available. Razer teased the powerful 18-inch gaming laptop at CES 2024 back in January alongside the new versions of the Razer Blade 16 and 14 models, which were released earlier this year.

The Razer Blade 18 is available in two models with different display options. The first features an 18-inch 4K screen with a 200hz refresh rate. The second option is an 18-inch mini-LED with a QHD+ 2560x1600 resolution and a 300hz refresh rate. While the 4K screen offers higher resolution, the mini-LED display has a faster response time and higher max brightness.

All Razer Blade 18 models run on the Intel Core i9-14900HX, which is a fast mobile CPU with speeds on par with desktop processors. It also supports overlocking through Razer's Synapse desktop app. The rest of the laptop's components are customizable and available in multiple hardware configurations depending on the screen you choose:

  • Razer Blade 18 with mini-LED screen:
    • Nvidia GeForce RTX 4070, 32GB RAM, 1TB SSD -- $3,100
    • Nvidia GeForce RTX 4080, 32GB RAM, 1TB SSD -- $3,700
    • Nvidia GeForce RTX 4090, 32GB RAM, 2TB SSD -- $4,500
  • Razer Blade 18 with 4K screen:
    • Nvidia GeForce RTX 4090, 64GB RAM, 4TB SSD -- $4,800

While gaming performance and maximum visual quality will differ between configurations, even the "low" tier Razer Blade 18 rocks some of the strongest gaming laptop components available. Despite the horsepower, the laptop is only 0.8 inches thick, making it the thinnest laptop with an Intel Core i9-14900HX CPU. The laptop also features a built-in six-speaker array with THX spatial audio support, an integrated mic and 5MP webcam, five USB ports, HDMI 2.1 output, 3.5mm headphone jack, and support for Wi-Fi 7, Ethernet, and Bluetooth connectivity. All models come with Windows 11 preinstalled, as well as a free month of Xbox Game Pass Ultimate.

The Razer Blade 18 is available now at Razer's online store, though some configurations are already sold out. We expect the laptop will also be available at Amazon and other online retailers soon. As a special launch deal, Razer is including a free Chroma V2 laptop stand (normally $150) with all Razer Blade 18 orders. The stand doubles as a USB-C hub with support for two external monitors. You'll also get one month of Xbox Game Pass Ultimate.

If you're looking for new gaming laptop models but the Razer Blade 18 is outside your budget, there are also the 2024 versions of the Razer Blade 16 and 14 models, which start at $3000 and $2,600, respectively. You can also grab older generations of the Razer Blade laptops for a discount at Amazon, many of which still have great specs that can get you excellent gaming performance, and for a few hundred dollars less than the latest models.
