The newest PS5 update has landed, bringing with its system performance and stability improvements.

Comments

The newest PlayStation system software update has arrived, but don't expect much in the way of major changes. The new update, Version 23.01-07.40.00, improves system performance and stability and improves "usability" for some screens, Sony said in the patch notes.

This is the first PS5 update since April's 23.01-07.20.00, which was also a minor update improved stability and usability, and also made some changes to the DualSense Edge for stability.
