PlayStation Music: Top Tracks of 2015 Revealed
PlayStation Music powered by Spotify is nearly 11 million downloads.
The PlayStation Music app for PlayStation 4 and PlayStation 3 has a been a huge hit since its arrival in March 2015. Sony announced today that it's one of the most-downloaded apps in PlayStation history, and as of January 1, it's reached nearly 11 million downloads. To date, people have listened to more than 190 million hours of music through the app, which is powered by the music streaming service Spotify.
"We're thrilled to see this level of engagement from the PlayStation community for a music experience all of us here are passionate about," PSN senior vice president Eric Lempel said in a PlayStation Blog post.
Sony also announced the top 10 most popular songs on PlayStation Music in 2015. The chart is topped by Fetty Wap's "679," while the full list (and a streaming embed) is available below.

PlayStation Music is available on PS4, PS3, and Xperia devices. It connects with your existing Spotify account, bringing over all the playlists you might have already created on PC or via the mobile app.
On PS4, the PlayStation Music app can run in the background while you're playing games. Lempel shared that the FIFA 15, NBA 2K15, and Destiny were some of the top games for background music this year.
