I really love playing as Junkrat. He's good against tanks if you lay your traps and you mine right. And the riptire is great for multi-kills even though it is pretty weak against enemy fire. One thing dumb about the riptire is when it is shot it apparently doesn't explode, it is just neutralized.

@joebobahead: I agree. Shooting it should still cause it to explode.

@joebobahead:

The fact that you can neutralize the riptire by shooting it before it explodes is the one thing keeping it from being completely OP.

....good lord that thing is annoying.

This game is a lot of fun, we'll have to see how Blizzard keeps things fresh and the fun going, but judging by their previous titles I think we're in good hands.

is this game really as boring as all the reviews with overhyped marks are telling? i would rather chop off both my hands before touching another multiplayer shooter. i for sure do not want the umpteenth mmo-coop-multiplayer-whatever-shooter. this gen really is the mmo gen. and it's not a good one. i never had to ignore as much titles as this gen. now that i finally got the money to buy every title i want the industry is just churning out rubbish after rubbish. funny. and sad.

@facts23:

This gen has been a pretty big disappointment until Overwatch.

But seriously, if you like online co-op games rather than straight up deathmatch games like CoD then give Overwatch a shot, It's a completely different animal. All of the gameplay modes in Overwatch are based around completing an objective, NOT straight up killing the opposing players. There isn't even a leaderboard to track who has the most kills. If all one does is focus on running around killing the enemy you will most likely lose.

On top of all of that Overwatch has got to be the most polished game at launch release in the history of ever.

@facts23: you find it more rewarding to shoot dumb as a rock AI enemies in singleplayer shooters? well... okay. multiplayers are where the real challenge is. once you figure out the patterns of the AI, the game becomes stupid easy. that said, i still enjoy good singleplayer shooters too, but they are rare. Stalker-rare.

must.... resist... urge... but... cant... GIT GUD!

@computernoises: I think it's a stylish game that way. It caters to a certain crowd. There is enough variety with the heroes, but overall I agree it's still a shooter and the lack of depth is off putting. It's for the bang, bang, pow, pow crowd. It's wow battlegrounds with better graphics and lacking the depth that actually made wow fun for me. I always find it weird when people think I'm the one being edgy though. Gamespot in general just the way they market this stuff try to make it sound way more edgy than this game actually is.

I think gaming in general has lost a lot of it's fun because of people like that. They are catering to a certain crowd. They aren't really in touch with what gaming is.

This game just strikes me as a fairly well polished clusterf that is still just a shooter. It's lacking those moments from other games that actually make them enjoyable.

@CatAtomic999: I am not even gonna lie. I really liked playing overwatch beta. But the amount of hype and promotion this game is getting is bordering on disgusting. Particularity when I realized that critics shat all over battleborn( that other hero shooter ) to promote how great Bliz erm I mean overwatch is. I mean Battleborns review right here on game spot gave it a 7 due to lack of content lack of maps and lack of modes repetitive combat .... Overwatch has what like 5 maps 3 modes( same three modes Battleborn has, attack defend and escort ) no story, 21 heros that are rather lifeless in game( battleborn has 25) and really Battleborn or overwatch....you can only shoot some in the face so many times with the exact same load out before it becomes repetitive. so by their own logic Overwatch should be no more than a 7 either.

Sometimes I don't understand how people say Reinhardt is easy... to me, he his a difficult character to master. I play almost exclusively Reinhardt, and it has made me pick and choose my battles a lot more cautiously.

Junk Rat is a beast, specially for offense matches. But I have to say best part about this game is that all characters are varied and so much fun to play with. I never thought I would be enjoying this game so much but it is pretty fun specially when you end up in a good team :)
