Now Playing: Oddworld Soulstorm Trailer | Sony PS5 Reveal Event

In the trailer, you can see that Soulstorm will play out in the series' traditional 2D, side-scrolling format but takes place in a new 3D environment. The franchise's chaotic combat is front and center for most of the trailer, but you can see several of the new storytelling elements at play too with brand-new characters, full voice-acted lines, and cinematic cutscenes.

Soulstorm was originally slated to release in 2017 before being delayed to 2019 and then postponed again to 2020. It will also release for Xbox One, PS4, and PC. The PC version of the game will be an Epic Games Store exclusive.
