Now Playing: The Last Campfire - Official Exploration Gameplay Trailer

The Last Campfire is being developed by a much smaller team within Hello Games than that of No Man's Sky, with the studio hinting at more similarly-sized projects in the future. Hello Games is seeking to recapture a time within the studio before the popularity of No Man's Sky and the production it required, letting the team experiment with new ideas and express themselves more emotionally through their work.

Hello Games will reveal more detail about The Last Campfire's gameplay and story in the coming months leading up to release. The studio is also continuing to work on No Man's Sky, which recently received an update that introduced living spaceships.
