But if you want one ASAP, you'll want to place an order right away when the headsets go on sale tomorrow.

According to Oculus Rift creator Palmer Luckey, there is no reason to fret over not being able to get an Oculus Rift headset. There will be no shortage of available units, he said on Twitter.

If you're interested in preordering an Oculus Rift and want one as soon as possible, it's probably in your best interest to place your order right away when they go on sale tomorrow at 8 AM PST.

Luckey said in a follow-up tweet that, should enough people preorder and exhaust all available stock, those orders will still be delivered, but will have a later ship date.

He also confirmed that Oculus Rift preorders will be open and available to people around the world, though the headsets will ship only to 20 countries. A list of supported countries has not been announced, though we expect this information to come through very soon.

The price for Oculus Rift has been a big mystery for years now. We know it will be somewhere above $350, but the exact price point has not been announced. Presumably the price, along with a release date, will be announced tomorrow when the headset's preorders begin.

We'll have all the details for you as they're made available.

In other Oculus Rift news, Oculus VR announced today that everyone who pledged for an Oculus Rift DK1 unit during the headset's original run on Kickstarter in 2012 is getting a free consumer version this year.

All Oculus Rift headsets will come with an Xbox One controller and a free copy of Lucky's Tale, a platformer from the designer of Words With Friends. Everyone who preorders the device (and those who are eligible for the Kickstarter edition) also get a free copy of CCP's space dogfighting game Eve: Valkyrie.

Nvidia, meanwhile, has announced a program to help make it easier to buy a VR-ready PC.
