You can now get your hands on Nier: Automata's bizarre first DLC pack that lets you fight the CEOs of developer Platinum Games and publisher Square Enix. The publisher announced that the pack for the popular action game launches on PS4 and PC today.
The incomprehensibly named content pack--titled "3C3C1D119440927"--includes several cosmetic items and new music, but its most significant addition is the new colosseum challenges. Players can take on Square's boss Yosuke Matsuda and Platinum's CEO Kenichi Sato.
You can watch gameplay of some of the DLC here, and check out the new trailer above.
In addition to these battles, the DLC adds:
- Costumes from Nier: Replicant, a Japan-only, slightly-tweaked version of the original Nier for PS3;
- Accessories, including hairspray for the main character, 2B;
- Masks with unique effects;
- Bullets that can change the look of enemy bullets.
The DLC is out now on Steam and the PlayStation Store, and it costs $14. The main game launched back in March for PS4 and PC to critical and commercial acclaim. Soon after its release, Square Enix announced that it had shipped 1 million units of the game. In his review, GameSpot critic Miguel Concepcion gave the game a 9/10, saying, "It's a meaty, often exhilarating trek that showcases Platinum Games' and Yoko Taro's unique blend of genius."
