New Zelda: Breath of the Wild Image, Snowboarding Gameplay Video Released

Nintendo has shared a new image from The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild. In the image, posted on Facebook, we see Link staring out into a sunset, sword in hand, ready for battle.

We're apparently going to get quite a few more images of Breath of the Wild between now and when the game is released in 2017. "Now until the launch of The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild, we'll be exploring the Hyrulean landscape with new screenshots," Nintendo said.

In other news, Nintendo has released some Breath of the Wild footage that shows Link snowboarding down a mountain on his shield. Here's the footage, as captured by NinEverything:

As we learned at E3 this year, Link is an excellent snowboarder.

Breath of the Wild comes out in 2017 for Wii U and Nintendo Switch. Though a specific release date has not been announced, it's rumored that the game will miss the Switch's launch in March.
