Watch New Zelda: Breath of the Wild Footage
New footage debuts at The Game Awards 2016.
Tonight during The Game Awards 2016, new footage was premiered for Nintendo's long-awaited RPG The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild. Watch the new gamplay clip, titled "Life in Ruins," in the embed above. A second gameplay video can be seen at the bottom of this post.
The video shows off Breath of the Wild's massive and gorgeous-looking world, also spotlighting some of the enemies Link will face on his adventures. We also see a character that appears to be Zelda at multiple spots in the video. Take a look at a still from the trailer below, presumably showing Zelda.
Breath of the Wild is due out sometime in 2017 for Wii U and the Nintendo Switch.
Reports have claimed Breath of the Wild may launch in March, alongside the Switch. However, conflicting claims have suggested the game won't be a Switch launch title, but a new Mario game could be.
