New Star Wars Battlefront Mode to Be Announced Thursday
This new mode "will be a blast."

DICE is gearing up to make a big Star Wars Battlefront announcement.
The game's official Twitter account today teased that DICE will reveal a new Battlefront game mode tomorrow, July 30. This mode "will be a blast," DICE wrote in a tweet.
The message was accompanied by an image of a battle between Rebels and Stormtroopers. Blaster fire is exchanged.

Confirmed Battlefront multiplayer modes so far include:
- Walker Assault
- Supremacy
- Fighter Squadron
- Blast
- Drop Zone
- Cargo
In addition to these, Battlefront has a Missions mode, playable offline or through local or online co-op. There is also the Survival mode that we saw at E3.

Battlefront launches on November 17 for Xbox One, PlayStation 4, and PC, just a few weeks before J.J. Abrams' Star Wars Episode VII: The Force Awkens hits theaters. Everyone who buys Battlefront will receive a free expansion called The Battle of Jakku, which is based on the upcoming movie.
