Konami will be sharing video of a lengthy Metal Gear Solid V: The Phantom Pain gameplay demo in the early morning hours tomorrow, the company announced today.
The 30-minute video will consist of the full demo that was on display last week at E3. It's set to go live on Kojima Station at 3 AM Pacific on Thursday, June 19, and according to Hideo Kojima, the presentation will be in English. We got a look at the demo for ourselves last week and found The Phantom Pain to be "the most complex Metal Gear Solid game yet."
Separate from this demo shown at E3, Konami also released a new trailer for the game last week that raised a number of questions about where The Phantom Pain's story will go.
Metal Gear Solid V: Ground Zeroes, the prologue of sorts to The Phantom Pain, was released in March to a good deal of criticism over to its length. Also controversial was the game's use of torture, which Kojima addressed recently. The creator of the series said he expected the response the scene got, but he refused to let that keep him away from such subject matter.
The Phantom Pain does not yet have a release date, but is not expected out until 2015 at the earliest.
