Life is Strange's Final Episode Release Date Announced

Life is Strange's fifth and final episode, "Polarized," will launch on October 20, developer Dontnod Entertainment announced on Monday. The studio revealed the premiere date today, and also noted that development on the game isn't actually done yet and cautioned that "things can change."

"Many things can change in the lead up to release but the team are working really hard to try and hit this date," the studio said in a statement. "We know the wait may be a bit longer than some of you were hoping for but we want to ensure Episode 5 is the best it can be."

The developer went on to say that it is excited to launch the finale and thanked fans for their support thus far. "We couldn't have foreseen the great reaction Life is Strange has had so far, the community is fantastic and we love seeing/reading your reactions to each episode," it said.
