[Last Chance] Deals On Xbox One Exclusives In This Week's Digital Game Sale

Lots of good first-party game deals.

Each week brings a new set of deals on Xbox One games on Microsoft's digital storefront. This week's selection includes big discounts on games published by Microsoft, along with a smattering of other deals. In short, a lot of fantastic games are on sale for up to 75% off, so there's a good chance you can save money on something you've been wanting to play (though some of the discounts require an Xbox Live Gold subscription). Let's take a look at what Xbox One games are on sale between now and September 24. [Update: It's now Monday, meaning there are just hours left to take advantage of these prices.]

Most of the killer deals this week are on first-party titles, so now's a great time to pick up any you've missed. The entire core Halo series is on sale, with Halo: The Master Chief Collection ringing in at $22.50 / £15 and Halo 5: Guardians on sale for $15 / £11. If you prefer combat of the tactical variety, you can snag Halo Wars: Definitive Edition for $10 / £8 or the sequel for $20 / £15.

Microsoft's other big shooter franchise is also on sale, with the remastered Gears of War: Ultimate Edition down to $8 / £6 and Gears of War 4 for $16 / £13. If you want to fill in the blanks between those two games, you can also pick up each of the backward-compatible Xbox 360 installments for 60% off.

Both of this year's Xbox One console exclusives are also on sale. Sea of Thieves is down to $39 / £32.50, while State of Decay 2 is just $20 / £16. And if FOMO of a certain Insomniac-developed PS4 exclusive has you down in the dumps, you can pick up the Spider-Man developer's Xbox One game Sunset Overdrive for a mere $6 / £5.

You'll find more discounts below, and you can peek at the full list of deals right here.

Hopefully some of the so called salt from Spider-Man being limited to only one console this time around fuels sales if sunset overdrive ever gets a sequel since they really are similar and really entertaining.

@jbreez00: Microsoft isn't interested in a sequel for it though. The dev apparently wants to make it. Spiderman to me was good but not great. Sure it looks great, runs well but ultimately not much substance in it and it's just far too easy.

I got it with the Pro console anyway and it includes the dlc which is pretty cool. Just hope they do something different with that.

@deviltaz35: Good is better than either of the things micosoft has put out so far this year. Kind of a shame microsoft doesn't want insomniac to make the sequel, but I guess the player base is part of the problem with them making games when only a few genres produce numbers... Hopefully they open it up to the PS4 and maybe the switch and pc then.

@jbreez00: They tried the PS4 already Sony won't publish it if Insomniac doesn't give up the IP. I'd like to see a sequel on any platform tbh
