Sony offering Guerrilla's 2004 shooter as $15 stand-alone download on PlayStation Network next month; game boasts 720p graphics at 30fps with trophies.

Guerrilla Games' 2004 PlayStation 2 shooter Killzone is coming to the PlayStation 3 next month. The company announced recently on the PlayStation Blog that Killzone HD will be released on the PlayStation Network on October 23 for $15.

The game has been remastered in high definition, boasting 720p graphics at 30 frames per second. Additionally, Killzone HD supports MSAA (multisample anti-aliasing) filtering, sharper textures, and "higher quality" sound effects.

In addition, Killzone HD features a full set of trophies for players to collect, including tasks like picking up 10,000 rounds of ammunition for the STA-52 LAR rifle and finishing a level with a hit ratio of above 90 percent.

Gamers who want even more Killzone can pick up the Killzone Trilogy, also due out on October 23. The compilation pack includes the original Killzone, as well as PS3 games Killzone 2 and Killzone 3. Further, all multiplayer map packs for Killzone 2 and Killzone 3 will be included with the Killzone Trilogy. It will retail for $40.
