Assassin's Creed Mirage is not like recent games in the series. It's purposely much more like the older games that predate Assassin's Creed Origins and the run of lengthy RPG experiences. That means the world feels both more tightly constructed and much smaller by design. With that comes a shorter playtime too. If you're wondering how many hours it takes to beat Assassin's Creed Mirage, here's your answer.

How long to beat Assassin's Creed Mirage

Mirage, like perhaps many fans of the series, runs on nostalgia for the days when an Assassin's Creed game didn't take over a month or two for most players to see all it has to offer. In this case, that translates to a slimmer 15 hours of playtime in Assassin's Creed Mirage if you're looking to only beat the main story. However, some other playstyles are further explored below.

Now Playing: Assassin’s Creed Mirage - Everything To Know

Outside of the critical path, you'll also find Tales of Baghdad, a series of side missions that are entirely optional but tell stories about the people of the region, providing more character to the many faces you'll see as you're hopping around rooftops and leaping through merchant stands. If you wanted to play the full main story plus some extra side missions, you'd be looking at something more like 20 hours of playtime.

Meanwhile, a completionist would also want to seek out all weapon and armor upgrades, unlock all chests, and complete additional side missions like re-stocking a library with lost books and uncovering the secrets found within the hidden place. If this sounds like you, expect a playtime of 30 hours.

Compared to Origins, Odyssey, and Valhalla, Mirage is a brief stroll, but that's by design, of course. Are you interested in the more digestible Assassin's Creed sequel, or do you prefer when it ate up your gaming calendar for several weeks or months?
