Good news for people who are enjoying Halo 5: Guardians' new Warzone Firefight mode, which was released this week in beta form. Developer 343 Industries has announced that it's extending the beta period an extra day, meaning it will now end on April 19 instead of April 18.

343 said it's giving players an extra day with the mode as a thank you for their patience, presumably for some launch issues. This being pre-release software, there are elements that 343 is hoping to improve for the final release.

Designer David Ellis said on Twitter that 343 has heard the feedback around the "Defend the Garage" objective and how it's not explained well enough to players.

"Good feedback and totally agree," Ellis replied when this issue was brought up to him by a fan. "We need better feedback for players on that objective."

Spawn locations is also an area that 343 hopes to improve with the full release, Ellis said to another player. You can submit feedback to 343 on Warzone Firefight in this Halo Waypoint thread--so far a lot of people have, as the thread is already 69 pages long.

Warzone Firefight is a version of fan-favorite mode Firefight, which debuted in Halo 3: ODST. For more on Halo 5's spin on it, check out the trailer above and GameSpot's previous coverage.

In other Halo 5 news, the game's latest free expansion, Ghosts of Meridian, was recently released. It added new multiplayer maps and weapons, among other things.
