Gangnam Style, Call Me Maybe coming to Dance Central 3
Popular songs from Psy and Carly Rae Jepsen, as well as Justin Bieber, One Direction, and LMFAO to be available as DLC for Harmonix's latest rhythm game.
Dance Central 3 will add Psy's incessantly popular "Gangnam Style" and Carly Rae Jepsen's chart-topping hit "Call Me Maybe" as downloadable content, Harmonix has confirmed to Joystiq.
The two songs, as well as tunes from Justin Bieber, One Direction, and LMFAO will also be available for the dancing game sometime down the road. No prices were announced for the songs, but Harmonix said the tracks will include "authentic choreography."
"Gangnam Style" debuted on YouTube in July and has amassed over 500 million views, becoming the site's third most-viewed video in history. The song currently sits in the number two position on Billboard's Hot 100 chart.
Just last week, Ubisoft announced that "Gangnam Style" would appear in its own dancing game, Just Dance 4.
Dance Central 3 launched last week to a warm critical reception. GameSpot's review praised its dance routines, noting that they appeal to beginners and experts alike. Additionally, Dance Central 3's new Party Time mode and decade-spanning soundtrack helped it earn critical plaudits.
