Gamescom has officially announced the lineup for this year's virtual event, which includes a stacked list of developers and publishers numbering in the hundreds. After being forced to cancel this year's annual event, Gamescom's organizers opted for a digital show instead.

A total of 354 official partners have been announced so far, which include Xbox, Sega Europe, Ubisoft, Electronic Arts, Bethesda, Activision Blizzard, and more. Other brand partners for Gamescom include PC hardware giant Nvidia, while social media titans YouTube, Twitch, and TikTok will also be present for the event. For the full list, you can click through to the official Gamescom website to see who'll be attending. We'll also be rounding up all of the biggest Gamescom announcements from Opening Night Live, the two-hour stream that kicks off the event and will likely be the main source of news and reveals.

It hasn't been revealed in what capacity the official partners will be present at Gamescom 2020 when the show kicks off several days of streaming content from August 27 to August 30. Opening Night Live is underway, with producer and host Geoff Keighley saying it will range from "indie stuff" to "next-gen stuff," and the "biggest games in the world". A sneak peek at season 2 of Mediatonic's Fall Guys: Ultimate Knockout will also be part of the show. It comes just a few weeks after the game's launch on Steam and on PS4. On the latter system, it racked up more than 8 million players as a free PlayStation Plus title.

Ubisoft will be one of those companies showcasing indie games, as the Ubisoft Entrepreneurs initiative will have several games from 13 Canadian and German studios to present at the Indie Arena Booth.
