Rockstar today announced the Myths and Mavericks Bonus Pack for the PlayStation 3 and Xbox 360 versions of Red Dead Redemption. The free add-on brings new, "fan-favorite" characters and environments to the game's multiplayer component.

Rockstar did not specify which characters would arrive in the content, but it did say a certain "grizzled ol' gunslinger" would be included. The accompanying picture confirms that this character is protagonist John Marston's mentor Landon Ricketts.
