Fortnite And Jordan Crossover Returns With New Jumpman Zone, Free Jordan Skins

Jumpman, Jumpman, Jumpman, Epic's up to somethin'

Comments

Fortnite and Jordan are crossing over once more, and this time the collaboration extends beyond the Item Shop and into a new event called Jumpman Zone. In Jumpman Zone, you'll be able to complete themed challenges in the basketball minigame and unlock free Jordan skins and other cosmetics. Here's everything in the latest Fortnite X Jordan collaboration.

Fortnite Jump Mode

Starting on December 1 at 4 PM PT / 7 PM ET, you'll be able to head into the new Jumpman Zone and participate in a range of challenges that can earn you some free cosmetics, including a new spray emote and even some exclusive Fortnite Jordan skins, though the challenges will get tougher the more you dive into the mode and try to unlock everything on offer.

In the Jumpman Zone, made by Enigma and Dummblond from Paradox Buildcreators, six portals will take you through a scavenger hunt and then on to complete in-game quests with some pretty generous rewards. After completing a scavenger hunt for the Air Jordan XI "Cool Grey," which makes its Fortnite debut in the December 2 Item Shop inventory, you will unlock the MVP rooms. In these rooms, you can "hang out and enjoy the ambiance while taking a trip down memory lane."

You'll also unlock a basketball court for you and your friends to play on, and you can enter a room with an "immersive video" featuring the new Jordan sneakers.

Trickshot challenges

Completing Fortnite Trickshot challenges will get you a bevy of Jordan cosmetics for free--though you'll need to purchase their base versions which will be sold in the Item Shop. Here's how it breaks down:

  • Complete six Trickshot challenges to unlock the Playmaker (blue) style of the Hangtime skin and the Crossover (dark) style of the Swish skin
  • Complete 10 Trickshot Challenges to unlock the MVP (silver) style of the Hangtime skin and the Downtown (silver) style of the Swish skin
  • Complete 12 Trickshot challenges before December 4 at 11 AM PT / 2 PM ET to receive the Deep In the Paint spray

In the case of the skins, you can also look for other colorways in the Item Shop starting on December 1 at 4 PM PT / 7 PM ET. However, you can continue to try and earn the alternate styles by using the Jumpman Zone creative code: 5519-3138-2454. Epic did not reveal an end date for the availability of those skins, so expect them to be earnable for the foreseeable future if you'd rather play to unlock them than pay to unlock them. We'll have a full guide on the Trickshot challenges soon to help you if you're having trouble scoring above the rewards threshold.

Fortnite X Jordan Item Shop cosmetics

The full range of Jordan cosmetics hitting the Item Shop on December 1 includes:

  • Hangtime skin (including new blue and silver styles)
  • Swish skin (including new dark and silver styles)
  • Cool Grey back bling
  • Dunk On 'Em emote

Whether you're buying the new Jordan skins or hitting the court to earn exta styles, the Jordan collaboration will be featured in Fortnite for a good while, even after the Chapter 2 finale.
