Luke Cage smashes his way onto screens later this week, as the latest Marvel Netflix show is launched in its entirety. We've had a few teasers and featurettes in the past few weeks, and the final full-length trailer has landed. Check it out below:

The show stars Mike Colter as the reluctant, bulletproof hero of the title, who first appeared in a supporting role in Jessica Jones. Luke Cage also features Alfre Woodard, Simone Missick, Theo Rossi, and Frank Whaley.

The events of Luke Cage will eventually tie into The Defenders, the superhero team-up show that will also feature Daredevil, Jessica Jones, and Iron Fist. It is expected in late 2017. An Iron Fist series is expected before this, and a first teaser was revealed at San Diego Comic-Con this summer.

As for whether Cage and Iron Fist will eventually form the "Heroes for Hire" partnership of the Marvel comic books in a later series, showrunner Cheo Hodari was recently asked if this could happen in Luke Cage Season 2. "Netflix has to order a second season first," he told Decider. "And trust me, I don't take any of this for granted. [But] we're not treating it as a one-off, and I'm confident people will dig the show. Trust me, like Season 2, I've got a few ideas."

Luke Cage hits Netflix in its entirety on September 30, 2016.
